Writing Advanced SQL: Why, When and Performance Implications

Kurt Struyf is an independent consultant/contractor and president of Lone Star consulting. He has over 25 years experience as a (system) DBA and has been installing, migrating, troubleshooting and tuning DB2 systems throughout Europe. Besides his consultancy missions he has been teaching a broad spectrum of DB2 classes, both in Europe and the USA. These classes range from basic courses like DB2 fundamentals and SQL workshops, over database administration and system administration classes, to system and application recovery and tuning workshops He has been a speaker at several large European and North America conferences.
